Princess Catherine, the Princess of Wales, has announced that her cancer is in remission. She shared this uplifting news during an emotional visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where she received treatment. In a statement, she expressed relief and gratitude, stating, "It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery."



During her visit, Princess Catherine met with patients and staff, reflecting on her own journey and the challenges of adjusting to a "new normal" post-diagnosis. She emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive mindset during treatment and expressed optimism for the future.



In her statement, she also announced her new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, alongside her husband, Prince William. She hopes to support groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promote patient and family well-being, aiming to transform the experience of those impacted by cancer.
